A fény hercegnője című történelmi-romantikus tévéfilmsorozat a XVII. században játszódik, főszereplői valóban élt történelmi személyek, a cselekmény politikáról, hatalmi harcról, barátságról, hűségről, szeretetről és persze szerelemről is szól. Vannak benne korhű díszletek, szép környezet, gyönyörű ruhák, jó színészek, hatásos dialógusok, az éppen zajló cselekményhez illő aláfestő zenék.
